Meet the Doctors


Dr. Frank J. Killian is a native of Toms River, New Jersey and has been practicing in both Hamilton and Toms River for over 15 years. He graduated from Rutgers University with a degree in Biological Sciences and then attended The Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine. While there, he was awarded the Charles E. Krausz Academic Scholarship and was a member of the Pi Beta Academic Honor Society. Dr. Killian received his surgical residency training at The Cambridge Hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School where he served as Chief Resident. During his tenure there, he also participated in advanced surgical training in Vilnius, Lithuania.

Dr. Killian received Board Certification by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery in 2000. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and New Jersey Podiatric Medical Association, as well as a Fellow of The American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He currently resides Lavallette with his 3 children Lauren, Kate and Jack.  




Dr. Sameep Chandrani graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, NJ. He received his doctorate Degree in Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York, NY and completed his three year surgical residency at the Department of Veterans Affairs- New Jersey Healthcare System in East Orange, NJ. He served as the chief resident during his final year.

Throughout his training, he received extensive training in forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery of complex foot and ankle deformities, including joint replacement of the foot and ankle, flatfoot, trauma, limb salvage and wound care. His main area of focus and expertise is in pediatrics, arthroscopy, pedal plastic surgery, and sports medicine.

Growing up in Nairobi, Kenya in Africa, Dr. Chandrani has always had the mindset and heart for medical missions and to help the under-served by donating his time and expertise. In his free time, Dr. Chandrani loves to spend it with his wife, family and friends. Among his passions, Dr. Chandrani also enjoys traveling, football and wood working.
