Sameep Chandrani, DPM, AACFAS, is part of the expert team at Mercer Ocean Podiatry, with locations in Hamilton Township, Toms River, and Plainsboro, New Jersey. He is a board-certified podiatrist and foot and ankle surgeon with special interests in pediatrics, arthroscopy, pedal plastic surgery, and sports medicine.
Dr. Chandrani graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology from New Jersey Institute of Technology in Newark, New Jersey. He received his doctorate degree in Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York City, and completed his three-year surgical residency at the Department of Veterans Affairs- New Jersey Healthcare System in East Orange, New Jersey. He served as the Chief Resident during his final year.
Throughout his training, he received extensive training in forefoot and rearfoot reconstructive surgery of complex foot and ankle deformities, including joint replacement of the foot and ankle, flatfoot, trauma, limb salvage and wound care.
Growing up in Nairobi, Kenya in Africa, Dr. Chandrani has always had the mindset and heart for medical missions and to help the under-served by donating his time and expertise. In his free time, Dr. Chandrani loves to spend it with his wife, family, and friends. Among his passions, Dr. Chandrani also enjoys traveling, football, and woodworking.
